AintreeLocation5 miles North of Liverpool, within Grand National race course. Approached by A59, south of M57/58 junction, then B5184 to Melling Road. Multimap Length2.7 km sprint DescriptionVery fast track on the historic GP course. F1 powered cars in the British Sprint Championship reach speeds in excess of 170mph. Multimap Length1.057 (x 1.75 laps) DescriptionA great weekend and a very challenging track. Downhill main straight into very fast first right hander which takes alot of nerve. The following combination are also tricky to master being a mixture of sweeping and tight corners into the top straight and on to the hairpin. You get 1 3/4 laps of this. Approached from Lichfield on unclassified road signposted Fradley from A38 Multimap Length900/1500 yards short/long course sprint DescriptionCurborough is a purpose built venue for sprinting, which has benefited from continuous improvement over the years, and is a regular in the Notts championship as well as a host of others. The course is relatively tight and twisty and surfaced with good quality tarmac. To the uninitiated spectator the track seems very straightforward, but it actually presents quite a few challenges to the driver aiming to set a competitive time. It's a very good track to learn the art of sprinting at, being relatively safe and not having very fast corners. Then bare right over central reservation towards Harewood. Aprox 3-4 miles from there on right. Length1448 Meters Hillclimb DescriptionLongest Hill Climb course in the UK. Very technical. Blind corner now with tarmac run off. Also hold your breath through the farm buildings as you have to be as close to the wall as your dare. Could take a life time to master perfectly. NSCC visit this Hill 3 times this season. Sometimes up to 5 timed runs have been incorporated into the meeting !! The corners flow into each other with a few double apexes to catch out the Loton virgins. Book early for this popular hill, fast flowing, scary but satisfying hillclimb will you avoid lifting up Cedar Straight ? Will you make the cut when the organizers select the entry? Then off down the straight which has a slight flat out right hand kink. Then over a brow and brake into a tight lft hairpin and off up the hill. you must stay flat round the bends till you see the right /left around a fence then immediately righ again over the finish line. Challenging up the hill and theres no room for mistakes!!!
